The love of winter 16 is not only for Developers and Administrators.

Salesforce has given a whole new elegant interface called Lightning experience. Which provides optimised user interface  for sales reps.

This interface helps sales reps to work more naturally and helps to close more deals faster.

Let have a look at some of the key features of lightning experience.

Home page

The home page is an intelligent way to start the day.

Here sales rep can monitor their performance with help of performance charts and get key insights of their key accounts with help of key accounts.


Opportunity workspace

It is an action-oriented workspace where sales rep can work on their deals more efficiently

They can quickly log calls, create tasks and send emails by using the handy composer.

Using opportunity board Sales reps can visually review the status of their deals organized by each stage in the pipeline.

Search results

The improved search feature lets sales reps find records faster.

The search results page display records from the object which sales reps use the most in the top results tab.

You can switch back to Salesforce classic ( Old interface) when ever needed.

Lightning experience is available in these editions Group, Profession, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited and Developer edition.
